The Township of Lexington is in the process of updating the Master Plan, which guides housing, economic development, infrastructure, and sustainability through the next 5-10 years. The updated Master Plan will be rooted in the desires and vision of residents, business owners and community stakeholders. This is why we need you to share your valuable opinions and great ideas for the Township’s future!

On May 22, 2025 the Lexington Township Board of Trustees voted to release the draft of the master plan for public comment, consistent with the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Act 33 of 2008, as amended (MPEA). As provided for in the MPEA, the public comment review period is 63 days. Thus, any comments regarding the proposed master plan will need to be received by August 1, 2025.

You may also express your comments at a future Township Board meeting. Future Board meetings will be on the forth Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Lexington Township Hall, (7227 Huron Avenue, Lexington, MI  48450).
