DESCRIPTION:LEXINGTON TOWNSHIP\,\nSANILAC COUNTY\, MICHIGAN \nNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF THE 2025 MASTER PLAN \nPLANNING COMMISSION MEETING \nPublic Hearing: August 20\, 2025 at 6:00pm \nPursuant to Michigan Public Act 33 of 2008\, as amended (the Michigan Planning Enabling Act)\,\nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lexington Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday\, August 20\, 2025\, for the purposes of considering adoption of the 2025 Master Plan. The public hearing will be held at the Lexington Township Offices (7227 Huron Avenue\, Suite 200\, Lexington\, MI 48450). \nThe proposed 2025 Master Plan is a document which will guide housing\, economic development\, infrastructure\, and natural resource use through the next 5-10 years. The Plan provides Goals\, Objectives\, and Actions regarding land uses\, transportation issues\, housing\, natural resource preservation\, and more. The Plan has undergone the required public comment period. The public hearing is an opportunity to provide feedback on the Plan prior to the Planning Commission’s consideration of adoption of the Plan. \nA copy of the draft Master Plan will remain available for review at Township Hall\, and online at\nwww.lexingtontownship.org \nLexington residents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend for public comment. Persons unable to attend the public hearing may send their comments in writing via email to info@mcka.com with “Lexington Township Master Plan” in the subject line\, or in writing via mail to: McKenna\, Attn: Lexington Township Master Plan\, 235 E.
